This first structure of Dayton built in the village of Dayton 100 years ago on banks of the Big Miami was one of the few structures in the section not carried away during the Great Flood of March 1913. East Monument Avenue. On the opposite side of the card is written:

Dear Lady, It is not my intention to cause a feeling of homesickness when I send you this particular card but to inform you that this Park and vicinity are again real beauty spots.
