Note:Great Flood of September 19th, 1866, in Dayton, Ohio. A scene on the corner of Canal and Water Streets, looking south from Monument Avenue, the picture shows the Canal filled with lumber from the Spinnings Lumber Yard located at the bend in the Canal where the levee broke.
